Children's National doctors care for pediatric patients in the Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at this location. The 6-bed NICU also has a 6-bed well-baby nursery.

Care is available here for all District residents, and in particular, communities east of the river.

At our state-of-the-art Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), we provide specialized care for premature and ill newborns who need extra support.

Our experienced team of neonatologists, nurses and respiratory therapists delivers expert, family-centered care for babies born at 32 weeks gestation or later, or those requiring close monitoring and short-term respiratory support.
