Wait Time Information

Families waiting for individual treatment should review our treatment contract below. Also, group treatment options occur throughout the year, so families should keep an eye out for emails regarding topics and start dates.

Treatment Contract

Treatment will occur in 45 to 60-min therapy appointments typically once (1x) per week
Sessions typically occur during business hours (e.g., M-F, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.)
In-person at Takoma Theatre (6833 4th St. NW, Washington, DC 20012)
While we offer telehealth services, we cannot guarantee telehealth services will be a fit for your family. A decision is made about telehealth services on a case-by-case basis.
All of our interventions heavily involve caregivers and often require home practice between sessions.

What to Know About Wait Times

We generally anticipate a 3-6 month wait until a visit slot is offered. During the intake, we develop treatment recommendations and identify community resources.
We generally anticipate a 9-12 month wait until a treatment slot is offered for individual services starting from the date your referral was received.
Please note that wait times can vary depending on which treatment you are waiting for.
Wait times are significantly longer for families with scheduling constraints.
